LDC Theory Course Package

This discounted package covers everything you need to know to pass both parts of the Theory Test, (namely, the multiple choice quiz and the Hazard Perception Test). The package incorporates The Driving Test Ultimate, The LDC Theory Test Workbook and The Highway Code.

Theory Test booking service
If you decide to purchase the Theory Course Package via our freephone, we can also book your Theory Test for you at an additional cost of £40 (i.e. £31 test fee plus £9 service charge). This will save you the hassle of having to get through to the DSA to book this test.

How the course works
The course is designed so that you can complete all your studying and preparation on your Personal Computer (i.e. PC) or via the more tradition method of pen, paper and books, or indeed a combination of the two. For example, you may decide to read the appropriate sections of the Highway Code as directed by the course programme while on your way to college or work but undertake the quiz relating to that study at home on your PC and so on. The choice is yours. However, please note that proper preparation for the hazard perception part of the theory test does require access to a PC, as this part of the theory test cannot be simulated by pen and paper. Therefore you need access to an appropriately specified PC (see below for details) for at least 8 hours to complete the course fully. If you are taking driving lessons with a local LDC instructor they should be able to organise this access for you.

To help you prepare for the theory test you will be provided with the Highway Code and certain supplementary notes. All the information needed to pass the theory test is provided in both written and electronic forms. In its electronic form on the DVD-Roms it is cross-referenced to provide a rich and unique learning environment.
